Luggage Forward’s service allows you to pack your luggage as you would for normal airline travel. There is no additional packaging required for your suitcase, it can be sent as is.

We specialize in shipping luggage of all types and sizes. Pack as you normally would when checking luggage with the airlines, but be sure to pack carefully, especially for more fragile items. Note that there are some items that cannot be shipped in your luggage. Read here for a full list of our prohibited items.
How To Pack Your Golf Clubs For Shipping
Golf clubs can be packed in a hard or soft travel case. We recommend ensuring that club heads have sufficient padding and support, just as you would for airline travel. We offer two categories for our specialized golf club shipments, small golf bags, and large golf bags.
How To Pack Your Skis Or Snowboards For Shipping
Skis and snowboards can be shipped in a hard or soft travel case. We recommend ensuring that bindings and tips have sufficient padding, just as you would for airline travel. Boots are required to be packed separately in a small boot bag. The boot bag most often falls under our “small bag” category and will need to be booked as an additional bag.

Prohibited Items
There are some items that cannot be shipped in your luggage. Packing and sending these items may delay your shipment and will void any warrantee otherwise provided to you under the Luggage Forward Terms of Service. Prohibited items include:
Aerosol
Aerosol or compressed gas containers
Fragile
Fragile, delicate, breakable items
Valuables
Valuables including jewelry, artwork
Medication
Any prescription medicine or narcotics
Batteries
Lithium ion batteries
Alcohol
Alcohol including perfume or cologne
