What to know before you ship to the USA
Your bags travel separately from your flight as unaccompanied luggage and clear US customs, run by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as personal effects, the classification for traveler-owned luggage. Our specialists prepare and submit the customs forms.
Your part. Give us an accurate list of what is in each bag, along with any documents we ask for. Leave bags unlocked, because customs may open them during screening. Zip ties or other removable fasteners are fine.
Duties and taxes. Any US duties or taxes charged at clearance are not part of our price and are billed to you separately.

Violators of the Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR parts 100—185) may be subject to civil penalties of up to $75,000 for each violation ($175,000 if the violation results in severe injury or substantial destruction to property).

Yes. Every bag includes $500 of complimentary value protection for loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear. You can increase your value protection until midnight on the day of your pickup.
